hey all... i currently have a geforce2 ultra but i have been considering changing to a radeon 8500 (or maybe a 7500) since ati has a good reputation for top quality dvd playback and picture quality. however, they also have a reputation for crappy drivers. does anyone have any specific experience with the radeon 7500/8500 in windows 2000 (both good or bad experiences)? also, i see there are a few different versions available like an LE version and a 128meg version of the 8500. my recent experience is limited to nvidia cards and i was hoping someone would be willing to give me a breakdown of the models and how they vary (i.e. core clock speed, memory speed, ddr or sdr memory, etc...) or provide a link with a chart of this information.
