I just built a new system and I notice on the Retail Box my Processor came in it lists the voltage as 1.525 max.
I set my motherboard to default on the Vcore and it shows the default as 1.475. I've run Prime95 and 3dMark2001 for hours and havent had any lockups at the default my motherboard chose.
Should I switch the Vcore on the motherboard to manual and raise the Vcore to the 1.525 listed on the box?
Why does Intel list the Vcore as a max value instead of a specified value? i.e. my PIII 700 lists its voltage as 1.65v.
