Ok, so I'm new at this. I'm trying to overclock my 9800SE.
It came default at 324/270
I've got it up right now to 392/317 with no apparent problems.
UPDATE: I think 400/324 is as far as it'll go. I tried 400/330 and all hell broke loose.
UPDATE AGAIN: Had to lower memory to 315. Game 3 didn't like the 324 memory.
My 3dmark score went from 2718 to 3213
My questions:
Do I need to restart each time for the change to take effect. Currently I'm not, and it seems like my FPS is increasing in 3dmark (I'm just running the first game demo to save time)
Secondly, someone mentioned having a program to lower the clock when they were on their 2d desktop. What program does this? Is it really that necessary. I thought they said Radclock, but thats what I have and it doesn't seem to have that option.
