I am not really that knowledgeable on all of the computer hardware terms. I know some about computers (enough to put all the parts in the right places and build a machine from the ground up) just not what all the tech stuff means.
I use my computer mainly for gaming and am looking to get a lot of new parts.
A friend of mine recomened the following parts:
Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150130
Ram: (2x) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=0-N82E16820145505
Processer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...103531&ATT=19-103-531&CMP=OTC-d3alt1me
MoBo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131540
My question to you is: Will all these parts be good and compatible for gaming? I only have about $800 - $850 to spend, and want to get a new Video Card, Ram, Processer, and Mobo. If not please tell me why, and if you have any other suggestions feel free to tell me
And also, when I put in a new processer and mobo, will I have to reformat any of my hard drives?
