questions about my jasper xbox

over the last two months, my jasper xbox locked up twice, once playing perfect dark, and another time while watching archer on netflix.

both times it locked up, it showed red lights on the top left, bottom left, and lower right quadrants.

it went away after doing a hard boot of the system where i unplugged the machine and plugged the power cord back in.

my question is... is my machine dying? the first time it happened, i thought it was a fluke. after the second time now, i'm not so sure. it's only 2 years old, and diligently cared for and dusted regularly. at the moment, it works perfectly.

While the Jaspers greatly reduced the RROD occurances, they didn't eliminate 'em. Good news is that it should still be covered under warranty for RROD, call MS.

i checked my warranty status for rrods and the ms repair websites says that rrod repairs are free for me until early 2012.

it doesn't rrod regularly yet - does it have to occur every time for me to send it in? or can i send it in now reporting that it happened twice so far?

When my console was giving an issue I told them it had a "intermittent Dvd reading issue that was tough to repeat" They replaced it no quesitons asked.
