Questions About Mixing ATA-100 And ATA-133 Drives

Okay, I have a MSI KT333 m/b, and a 40gB Maxtor ATA-133 HDD. I'm ready to buy a bigger HDD now. I could get a 200gB Maxtor ATA-133, or a ATA-100 160gB for less money. What are the negative effects, if any, of mixing ATA-133 and ATA-100 drives on a ATA-133 m/b? Should I keep the machine homogenously ATA-133? Or can I mix ATA-133 and ATA-100 without a major performance hit?
