i am currently using a macbook. one thing i definitely love is the two finger scrolling, very convenient. they should have that functionality in all laptops.

questions:

1. is it possible to maximize the current window with keystrokes? (in windows, i hit alt-space, then x; and then alt-space r to restore.)

2. how can i start a program using keystrokes/commands? is there a "Run" command like windows to let me open a particular program? can i force apple-ctrl-w to open a program?

3. how can you delete a single file from the trash? or must you dump all of it?

4. and is it possible to access menus with the keyboard. alt-f, then v for print preview or whatnot.

thanks!

The nice thing about OS X is that you can define all your own keyboard shortcuts if theirs are at all lacking. For example, on every single video playback program on OS X, Apple+F full screens the video except for DVD Player, there is it apple+0, so after a fresh reinstall I always fix that keyboard shortcut so that it is apple+f.
