I've been feenin' for a laptop really really bad lately, but really trying to justify the cost for one. Just wondering what you guys think? I'm a CS major at SDSU, and I really think that I would make use of it at school and stuff. Do you guys think it would be a good investment in? Would it make enough of an impact on school to justify buying it? I keep going back and forth on it and its driving me nutz 😕. I'm looking at the Compaq 2800T, any other recomendations? Trying to keep it below $1500. Thanks guys...

a laptop is definately a good investment in if you think you will be using it(especially for school). You can use it at school to do homework, projects, programming, blah blah blah. My friend is a CS major, and each time he has a program that he doesn't do correctly, he just takes the laptop with him to the teacher. Then, they work at it together. Sure better then dragging a whole desktop or writing the whole program on paper........
