I use computer for compile (including OS witch is Gentoo Linux) and virtualization. So I need a fast disk system.
I have to chose between one Intel SSDSA2MH080G2R5 or two Kingston SNVP325-S2/64GB in RAID 0
I know that one to one, Kingston drive is slowest than Intel drive but is cheap and two of them give me more disk space.
The questions are:
1. What to chose: one Intel or two Kingston in RAID 0 ?
2. What controller Kingston SNVP325-S2/64GB use ? It's Jmicron JMF618, it's Toshiba or actually it's a mix of these two companies because I'm very confused here about this aspect ?
3. If I'm going on RAID 0 I'll have to rely on Garbage Collector features. Does this review http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=872&type=expert&pid=10 apply to Kingston SNVP325-S2/64GB ?
4. If answer is not at previous question how good in Garbage Collector implementation is ?
As you can see I'm good at software not at hardware. Any help/clarifications are welcome.
Thank you very much!
