Not to sure if this belongs here or not lol.
I have windows 7 64bit. i downloaded the Windows 7 64bit chipset drivers
I have the evga 760 Mother Board
Before I attemt to install the Chipset drivers the dates on them are 2006.
After I attempt to install the chipset drivers the dates on them are 2006
I have tried running it as administrator. I have tried running in compatibility mode. I have tries everything I can think of
The install goes fine but when it comes to the install part it just skips over it.
What I have done to remedy this is
1. Downloaded the Windows 7 64bit chipset Drivers.
2. I extract the exe with 7 zip
3. I manually update every single driver from there.
4 After the drivers are updated the ones that were found would have the date of 2008.
A. My question is. Is this a safe way to do it. Will I hurt my pc's performance or hardware by doing this.
B. If it is safe is there a quick way to do it instead of updating each one separetely. Like placing all them in the system32/Drivers folder.
Thanks for all you help guys. I appreciate it. I hope this ends up helping out someone else to. I know a few people that cant get there chipset drivers to install.
