First question is : Do gravity ripples exhibit doppler shifts ?

awesome question !

Not sure
.... but I'll see your question and raise you.

Does "spooky action at a distance" exhibit Doppler......
Best estimates suggest entanglement occurs at piC ( 3.1415927 X C )
hehe

Gravity waves ( http://www.theweatherprediction.com/habyhints/64/ ) are not the same as gravitational waves ( http://www.gq.com/story/einsteins-gravitational-waves-explained-for-dummies ).

Intuitively, if gravitational waves are detected as a wave motion, then it is logical that doppler effect would be applicable in the form of frequency change due to shift (such as gravitational waves detected from two black holes merging in another receding galaxy).

Entangled objects should not be expected to relate to any doppler idea (IMO) as I think what's going on in that case is something like John Wheeler's theory about conservation of momenergy (ie, boundary of a boundary).
