alright, so I picked up a pair of Cobra PR 135-2 Microtalk. gonna use it the next time we hit the slopes. on the back it says you'll need a FCC license. I thought only the radio that has a 5 mile range needs a license.

anyone own a pair or have dealt with this before? there's info. inside, but I don't wanna open it just incase I don't wanna keep it.
