Questions about Gamecube Broadband adapter for anyone who has it.

1. Does it require a special disk to configure and install, such as with the PS2?
2. Does it require a monthly fee to play online? In this case for Mario Kart: Double Dash?
3. It looks like this adapter might be for strictly LAN play, no internet 🙂|). Can anyone confirm this also?

Thanks! 🙂

Nope

Depends. For PSO, there is a fee. Other games like Mario Kart technically don't work online. Someone made the warppipe program to allow LAN play online. So this is free.

Out of the box, games generally support LAN play only. With Warppipe, you can play some games online with the BBA.
