i have my E6600 overclocked to 3ghz via a 333FSB and 9X multiplier and a divider for the memory. all voltages at default. this speed is plenty fast for what i use my computer for but i am wondering if i set the FSB to 400 and lower the multiplier to 7.5 for a speed of 3GHZ will i notice any difference? will the higher FSB and 1 to 1 ratio for the memory make a big difference?

No, there wouldn't be a big difference, if any. Also, the E6600 is a 65nm C2D and so can't use .5 multipliers.
