I'm selling a computer and the person wants to use StormPay escrow service. I have heard conflicting reports about the legitimacy of this service.
Does anyone know of an escrow service that is 100% reliable? I would prefer to deliver a package on site (NYC) and receive money on the spot. I am not familiar with online personal sales, never even used Ebay, but I am well aware that there are a lot of frauds out there. I know a very common one is to cancel a check/payment at the last minute after a product is received or cash is transferred.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good alternatives to sending out my computer and "expecting" and transfer from a known problematic Stormpay company.
