Kind of a newbie with this stuff, so bear with me. :)

Am planning to upgrade to a 32GB SSD and keep my old 160GB disk for media/backup. What is the best freeware software that would allow me to automate imaging the 32GB disk to the 160GB? Also, would it be a problem if the disks are formatted with different cluster sizes, or is this not an issue?

Are you sure you don't want to go from the 160 to the 32 SSD?

Yeah sorry for any confusion, that's what I'm planning to do. 32GB SSD will become the new OS/apps drive, and 160GB will stay for media and backing up the 32GB drive.

if the manufactuer of the 32gb drive is seagate, they offer a free imaging prog [which is acronis true image] that you can download, it will do the job.

Acronis it is. Or you can search and use Casper XP ($40.00 IMO), which allows you to do it inside Windows.
