I own an HP CD Writer (Currently drive E) and a Toshiba DVD/CD Drive (Currently drive F).
I cannot get any CD audio to play while I'm playing games. Like, Total Annihilation and Midtown Madness both use the CD to play the music while in the game, but when I play, both games are completely silent other than the wav sound effects and such.
I can listen to CDs using Windows Media Player, and the audio cable is only connected to the one CD drive. So I did some reading and this seems to be the result of Digital Audio being enabled. I think that is causing my problems. However, when I goto disable it in the device manager, both drives have it checked and greyed out. Is it possible to change it some other way? Or is my problem from something else?
Thanks.
