Questions about Beeps at Startup...

1- Will my computer still beep at post if I don't have any RAM installed on the motherboard?

2- Also, the motherboard has its own "speaker" of some sort for the beeps, correct?
 
1 - Yes, your MB manual may specify what the beep error codes mean, though that info is not usually in the manual. The manf web site may have that info somewhere. But yes, it should beep an error code for 'bad memory'. This is of course assuming you don't have a MB w/ an LED diagnostic built in (i.e. some new Epox boards)

2 - Usually yes.
