I am planning on returning my P3V4X because of boot-up problems and am looking at these 2 motherboards. I have decided to go with a Raid MB. Can the VP6 be used with a single CPU and Win 98 for a while until I get a second CPU and then switch to Win 2000? I like the features of the SA6R, but I do not like the Ram limitation. I read that if I use PC 133 SDRAM that I would be limited to using only 2 of the DIMM slots. Is this true. Thanks for any help.

yes, you can just put in one cpu and it will work fine. for the sa6r, yes, if you want to run pc133, you can only use the first two dimms
