Questiong regarding software licensing.

If we develop an application from VB and distribute it... are we subject to some VB licesing?

I don't think so. IANAL, but I have worked for a number of companies that shipped commercial VB apps, and none of them had any sort of VB licensing. I'm pretty sure there's something in the VB EULA that states that the runtimes and any works that you create with VB are freely distributable.
