I was just surfing the hot deals forum, and I got a pop-up installer for "Scratch Cards" for CRM (?) media. The only other window I had open was to my webmail on my own personal server, so I'm pretty sure it came from here. Just an FYI.

Mozilla is set to not allow all unrequested Javascript windows (so PM windows and such still work, but popunders don't). Ergo, I have not seen this window of which you speak.

Now, this is probably a stupid question, since you guys most likely run it already, but have you been using Ad-aware or some other similar program? If not, please do, to make absolutely certain that it couldn't be anything else.

I run Adaware and Spybot. Spybot seems to get everything and I might have to dump Adaware.
EDIT
As a test I ran spybot and I am still getting them.

I didn't do the install, and didn't have to ctl-alt-del either. I need to talk with the sysadmin here about getting gigher privileges so i can actually install ad-aware.

It came from here... I don't visit other places.

This one is vicious, It didn't have options for you to cancel, just install... and if you installed it by accident, it hides itself...and bring up 2-3 windows every 10 or so minutes... bastards!

Weird - I had the option to cancel. Maybe it's an NT4 thing, since that's what I was running at work.

I think you and I (mozilla users) are missing out on an opportunity to give our personal info to companies to sell.
