hi! im in the process of modding my case and need to ask you fine folks some questions. i have an enlight 7237 with an enermax 350w dual fan PSU. my guestions are:

1. i saw some cases with a 120mm fan intake in the lower front of the case. i tried measuring in my fan but saw that its size overlapped with the harddisk case and the upper left corner for the fans screw would have nothing to attach itself on. how were you able to do this (if you actually have one)

2. i have 2 120mm fans and 2 90mm fans. is my 350w enermax enough juice?

3. the acrylic windows on the sides of case, what thickness should they be if i were to attach a 120mm fan so as not to vibrate.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't modded my enlight, but I've modded many others. If you want to put a 120mm fan in the front, you could sandwich it between the frame and the front bezel. Then you would attach the fan to the bezel and you would have something to mount your fan on. This would also keep the fan from hitting the drive cage. You should have plenty of juice to run those fans. I usually use 1/8" plexi, and I have mounted a 92mm in it before. As long as you have the plexi mounted well then it should stiffin up and be able to hold a 120mm easily.

In addition to jcmkk's suggestions: be sure you use very quiet 120mm fans, especially for the front. I modded my Enlight 7237 to accept a 92mm fan in the front and cut a blowhole in the plastic bezel. Although I'm using a Sanyo-Denki fan, the noise from it is quite noticeable.

I just finished modding my Enlight case out with two 92mm fans, one in the front and one in the rear. It took some good measuring and alot of work with my trusty little dremmel. But in the end it was worth it. I was not adventurous enough to try to cut the window kit into the side panel. I paid a machine shop to do that for me. I figured I wanted it right the first time. The local shop always treats me right, but asking them to supply me with another side panel because I was a bone head was too much for me to consider asking them.
