Question with DVD Burner jumper settings when connected to an SATA/IDE PCI controller card...

Do I set it to Master/Slave/Cable Select??? if DVD burner is connected to a Promise SATA150 TX2 controller card. I've got no other IDE devices connected to it, only a SATA Hard-Drive.

No, the parallel ATA connector on the FastTrak S150 TX2plus and Sata150TX2plus supports only Ultra ATA drives.

Can I plug my 2 drives that are connected to my primary controller on the motherboard Which is my C: drive to the controller? Then can I attach the DVD Burner to the POrimary controller on the motherboard?

Is it straight forward or is their more to it?
