MY computer is running very slow today. Everything takes a long time to pop up. Why is that? I cleared all of the spywares. Rise of nations seem to be skippy and 3D mark crashed. I have already scanned for viruses and spyware.

So in dxdiag the bouncing white box lags in a window. And for the direct 7,8,9 feature test, I can't see a clear box. I see something very bent and curved changing rapidly. I also got these folders named

NV15841380.TMP

NV3452364.TMP

NV25203864.TMP

NV26202716.TMP

NV16241484.TMP

NV1408488.TMP

in my program files folder. Is that normal?

The Ultimate Troubleshooter says nvsvc32.exe is not ok. Is that a driver problem and ca be fixed by reinstalling the driver?

Yes. I just performed a full system scan according to that majorgeeks thread. I had to reinstall the driver twice because for somereason it didn't get installed the first time. And then the same problems occur where 3D mark crashes after the first poryxcon test and Nvsvc32 is still not ok.

Make sure the fan is working on your video card, and not full of dust, as an overheating video card could cause those problems. Make sure you are using the latest drivers as well.

Programs fail to install all the time. Windows media encoder 9 failed and froze. I had to restart the computer and reinstall it. Pc mark only gave me 3371 marks.

My specs are:
athlon 64 3200+
geforce 6800GT
1024 DDR 400
K8NS ultra 939

Is that normal? I think there's something wrong with my hard drive. Every thing including the internet browser takes a long time to open. And installations are always failing. Is there a hard drive health diagnostic tool?

Video card temps are normal.

Sounds like you could have a memory problem as well, I recomend running memtest overnight. If your memory is bad, it can corrupt the data on your hard drive.
