if you can change the multiplier and the fsb,what would be the point in spending more for a 1.2 t-bird over a 1gig t-bird?are there different cores or steppings that would make one o.c. higher than the other.i know about the copper/aluminum interconnects on the i gig.to the point:if the ceiling on these was say 1300mhz.couldn't both be set with the same multiplier and fsb and run evenly?thanks,

It's not a garuntee that the 1GHZ cpu will reach 1.2GHZ. If that were the case, no one would be high-end cpus. And not everyone knows or feels comfortable overclocking becuase sometimes you run stuff out of spec when you overclock....
