Question Question Will these memories work together?

I have a ASUS P5Q PRO 775 P45 RT Motherboard with this 4 gb of this RAM already installed https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-4gb-240-pin-ddr2-sdram/p/N82E16820231166?amp;nm_mc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel&;cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-N82E16820231166 . Wil this memory https://www.newegg.com/crucial-4gb-240-pin-ddr2-sdram/p/N82E16820148249?Item=9SIAKD3B5T0671 work with this my ASUS motherboard? The first memory is 2.0-2.1 v CL 5 and the second one is 1.8 v CL7. The rest of the specs are the same.

If you downclock the first set of memory and it can run at the same voltage as the second set without causing crashes, then, yes, you should be able to run both sets of memory. But remember that not all the memory that came out at that time which called for higher voltages could run properly with lower voltage. You will need to find memory timings, speeds, and voltages that all the memory that you use will work with, even if that means running everything slower than it is capable of doing to get a common working voltage.

I would find memory that at the very least has the same voltage rating, especially for an older DDR2 board. Try looking on ebay or amazon for used Gskill kits that are a better match. Also, be sure to run memtest86 once the new memory is added, to make sure the system is stable.
