Ray said that the WB/HBO head of the project was racist or something. They did an "internal investigation" and said there was nothing there. Ray went public with a lot of very damning accusations. He had said he'll never work on a DC project again until that guy is fired. WB said he's not going anywhere and Ray is blacklisted and Cyborg will not be recast. This all went down concurrent with the Joss Whedon scandal.what did Ray Fisher do to screw himself?
so we wont see the current Justice League/Apokalyse arc to conclusion?!
WB just washed their hands of ALL the associated projects relating to Justice League and starting over? (so Another 4 year buildup arc starting with this Batman???)
Jeez.. WB with $Billion$ profit potential with Justice League/Apokalips multi-year story arc to rival Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet is more incompetent than the Russian military in taking Kiev, Ukraine.Ray said that the WB/HBO head of the project was racist or something. IIRC there's also some sort of scandal with Ezra Miller.
Essentially they're left with Jason Momoa making one more Aquaman movie as a "standalone" project. I don't believe Gal Gadot is under contract for any more Wonder Woman appearances.
The JL/Apokalips story is dead before it even started.
One last Spoiler related to JL and HBO and a certain HBO TV show that has already aired:
The Justice League likely made their last appearance as a cameo in Peacemaker. In that cameo four characters appeared. Two were clearly the two actors still under contract. The two with actors not under contract were just shadowy representations. The one character that had already been recast didn't appear at all.
it was more like a Punisher movie except hero with no guns. (altho this Batman seems to be wearing alot better body armor than Punisher)The batman is just a terrible movie, it's very beautiful but eye-candy is all it is.
Story wise it doesn't make any sense at all, batman is a brawler with iron man armor in this, not relying on his wit but on brute force. Then there are the "detective scenes" where no detecting is happening at all, the director just saw that those are the types of scenes that happen in real detective movies so he put them in.
Bruce just blindly believes anybody that tells him a sob story about his parents.
The riddler has the end action scene already planned out, which would have solved all of his issues, so the whole first 2/3 of the movie are completely irrelevant and are just time waster they don't add anything to the story, it could have been replaced by a news article showing the victims and it would be the same.
But then all the things the riddler had planned would have made all the surveillance agencies computers light up like Christmas trees and he would be in jail before the movie even started. He was a simple hacker working out of his apartment, he would have been caught right away.
So bottom line, the movie makes no sense at all.
