well, I look in the SETILog file and noticed a pattern... every ninth WU isn't credited to me, but to another user instead.
any idea(s) on how to fix this? This is due to OK being down, as you well know...

Thx in advance.

I'm not sure, but change the user_info.cah with your own? (Open it in notepad and confirm it is your username/email)

I'd wait for confirmation of whether I am talking bull or whether I am right before you go ahead with anything :)

It's not a problem with your user_info.sah file - it's shikhan's problem. Their user_info.sah file somehow got your information in it an are now crunching for you until they get it fixed. I'd suggest sending that person a PM to let 'em know... Hope this helps.

correct me if I am wrong, but you just need make sure all the user_info.sah files in your workunit folders are yours.. I am assuming you have a cache of 9? just look thru each of the folders under your seti folder, opening each user_info.sah and make sure it is yours.

UNLTuba, he is saying that every 9th wu HE crunches is attributed to the other person... so it's not the other persons problem...
if the other person had a problem, it wouldnt show up in KillerMowse's setilog file... but he may be able to see it on a queue, that the wu's came from a machine other than his....

As stated above, it sounds like one of your user_info.sah files in the SETI Driver sub-folders is screwed up. Check all the user_info.sah files and replace the ones with the wrong users. Make sure to shut down SETI Driver before changing the files.

Oops - sorry for the misinformation on my part. I read your post too quickly and thought you were talking about a queue rather than the log file. Sorry for that... I had a similar problem when every sixth (yes, it was that exact) work unit in my queue wasn't from a computer that I had assimilated. It's fixed now, but it had to be done by the person that the w.u. was coming from. Once again, sorry 'bout that. Can you guys ever forgive me?
