Is there any way of powering up an ATX mobo with an ATX powersuply but with out a case, so that without a power button?

I have a spere PS and a AbitLX6 and 300mhz PII and I´d like to save myself some money and skip the part of me buying a new case for an old computer.

Yep, touch the soft power pins AND ONLY the soft power pins with any conductor: a screwdriver, jumper, paper clip, etc.

I had the same thing for a while and got really tired of having to turn it on and off like that, and it's quite loud when running that way. After a while I just spent the $50 and got a case.

I´m just going to put Win2000 server on it and run it 24/7 probably in a paper box in a closet, so I´ll try the screwdriver thing.
