Question to the parents of ATOT

hey ATOT parents, gotta few questions for you:

A. Have your kids ever told you they "hate you" or something along those lines?
B. If so, did you feel hurt or feel it was "kids being kids" and how old were they?

Just Curious...

They haven't (probably because we never use that word) but I'd be fine with it so long as they were younger....say 5 or under.

The reality is, that kids that age don't know how to correctly say what they mean or express themselves and are bound to misuse certain phrases and words. No biggie. If they're 8 or older then, yes, I'd be concerned.

What's with the grey area from 6-8 😛

My daughter has never said that ... but then again, she hasn't said anything besides goo-goo-gah-gah so far 🙂

I'm not doing my job if my kids don't hate me from time to time. Especially about teen things like "I need the car to go drinking with my friends. Everybody does it, what's the big deal?"

I think I told my parents I hated them a couple of times while I was growing up - at least once as a very young lad (<6 years old) and at least once as a teenager.
