Question to pick-up owners..

Do you actually use the bed of a truck like others use their car as a trunk? I can't imagine the practicality of it, since most beds I see are uncovered, which make them extremely vulnerable to weather and thieves..and there isn't much room in the cabin especially in regular cab trucks for any sort of cargo.

There are so many variations of bolt in and lockdown (locking) weatherproof solutions available now that it shouldnt be a problem.

I never really carry anything of great value with me. And the topper on the bed of my truck doesn't lock, so I don't store anything really valuable there for long. But bulky items store well in there for a while.

No, I use the bed of my pickup like the bed of a pickup.

for storage i use my tool box. I got a really deep one that gives me extra room. (although its pack to the top right now....

Bought my Ranger used and came with one of these. I need to get something to secure my stuff in the back though so it doesn't slide around on the bedliner. Just haven't bothered since it's only a commute vehicle (and the commute is only 3 miles).

I use it for anything. If I carry anything of value, I park it where I can see it. But.... I am having a lumber rack and camper shell put on it in two weeks when the rack comes in.
