Question to laptop users with 802.11b card

My laptop has 2 PCMCIA slots, one on top of the other. I plugged a PCMCIA 802.11b card in my laptop and I'm very happy with it. Problem is, I'm considering buying a PCMCIA USB2.0 card, and it looks like that USB card will need to have the top slot in the laptop (due to it's shape).
I just wonder if it'll block considerably the signal of the 802.11b card. Anyone tried that?

I doubt it.

The main problem I've heard from people is with Apple's Titanium laptops - apparently the pretty titanium casing acts as a good signal insulator, and the internal antenna's range is less than stellar. :)

good luck!
