Hi, Bcomp
You have no e-mail address so I ask you here.

You wrote: "I run a PIII 1000EB at 1103 mhz on an Asus CUSL2. No problems at all. 7.5 x 147 fsb.Its very fast. "

I have PIII 1000, 133Mhz (that's what EB stands for, right?) and CUSL2-C mobo. Plan to o/c it by chenging FSB speed. I have the original heatsink on the CPU, though. Do you think it'll work OK? What are your system specs?

Also, what do you mean by "very fast". Do you have some benchmarks? I play nothing but Flanker  .

Cheers

Sorry, Bcomp

I've just checked my previous thread and saw your answer. Thanks, by the way.

What is the temp in your rig after overclocking?

Also, will joystick perform OK after o/c. On my old PC I hade problems with thermal drift, it was terrible. But I guess it is much better to have an USB joystick instead of usual gameport?

I can't collect my thoughts this morning
Had too much whiskey last night

Bcomp, a question.
So I leave FSB : RAM : PCI at 133 : 133 : 33. Then set CPU speed to manual and then up with FSB setting, keeping RAM and PCI constant, right?

What increments should I use, like 1Mhz, or can I just jump to 140 directly? This is completely new rig, 2 days old.

How does one test for stability?
