Hand-written or typed? Or it doesnt matter?

I had a recent interview before New Years and Im just wondering ;) I need any edge I can get. *sighs* Man it sucks to be out of college right now, from the body language of one of the interviewer's I could tell I didnt have enough experience (MS Active Directory which I havent worked with yet) :(. Anyways I want to send this letter emphasizing the strengths of the interview. :p

It looks like Im going to have to go back to school sooner than I thought to get my MBA and go into management because frankly it looks a college degree in comp eng is pretty much worthless right now without experience. What a bummer :).

Typed, short sweet & simple and signed with black or blue ink.

Handwritten.

However, the fact that you send thank you's at all will put you head and shoulders above most candidates, whether typed or handwritten.

So wait a minute, it is common to send Thank You letters after an interview? I am wondering because I have an interview next week and I am wondering if I should do this. Thanks

I would send a thank you letter after any interview. Use it to bring up something about yourself that you may have forgotten to mention during the interview, or to clarify a question that you didn't answer well or something. Basically it's a courtesy that gives you another chance to sell yourself.

That makes sense. I will be sure to do so. So it is a good idea to use it to build yourself up again?

Sure.

Of course, be sure to thank the person for his/her time as well. :)

Send typed thank-you letters after every job interview. It might help keep your face in the interviewee's mind while s/he sorts through the other 1500 candidates for the job. This is especially true if you meet several people during the interview.

Sign with blue/black ink.

Try not to leave any stains on the letter. :)

Naked pics and a phone number.

Yea, everyone likes naked pics. Thing is though, the guy interviewing me is male, and I mean, he probably wouldn't want those pics and my phone number unless..........:Q
