Question syncing Thunderbird with Google Calendar.

I was able to sync my Thunderbird and Google Calendar, but I'm having trouble with the notifications.

When I set an event in Google, I can set it to send a text message to my phone.

When I set an event in Thunderbird, I can set an "Alarm", but when it gets sent synced with Google, the "Alarm" is specified as a "Pop-up" and I don't get a text message.

Is there any way to have fix this?

if you have setup the respective options within the Google UI you can modify the file calGoogleUtils.js on line 516 from:

gdReminder.@method = "alert";

To:

gdReminder.@method = "sms";

Shut down Thunderbird reload and give it a whirl...
