Question reguarding ATI 9800 Pro

I have been having problems with my computer resetting as of late, and have been unsure of to the issue causing it. I know that my southbrige on my Asus A7N8X Deluxe was overheating, and since Asus would not hold true to their 3-year warranty, I used a modded heatsink to fix that problem. I decided to get a 9800 Pro a little while back to replace my older 128MB card; although, it seems to be generating a lot of heat. I have a room fan blowing on it, and it still manages to get hot enough to leave a burn mark on my finger if I touch the heatsink for an extended period of time. I am guessing this is not normal, but has anyone else else a similar experience. FYI, the card only gets that hot when I run graphics intensive programs/games. Thanks.

How good is the cooling in your case? A friends 9800 Pro got hot to the touch but not scalding like yours. If worse comes to worse you might need a 3rd party cooling device for your card and possible some better chassis airflow.
