Upgrade looming, I'm currently using a Zalman 7700-Cu for a E6600, motherboard P5VDC-MX 2.0. The 7700 fits fine on this board, and cools the CPU great.
As a replacement motherboard, I'm looking at either:
Asus P5B
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
Based on the pictures provided by newegg, I'm pretty sure that the 7700 will not fit without modification of the Northbridge HS's on both boards, so I'm looking at a Zalman 9500 as a replacement.
There's three different versions of the 9500, none of them list these motherboards in the compatibility list. So I'm turning to my fellow ATer's for experience, has anyone installed the 9500 on either of these boards?
