just want to know if im sending a parcel by Xpresspost-USA from canada to Cali

how many times will they try to delivery the package?

does it require a signature?

I've sent stuff with them before, haven't had any problems. It's all been there in the time they quoted me (3-5 business days). get delivery confirmationa and that should mean signature
 
Signature confirmation costs $1 canadian extra. This will try to deliver once, and then leave an note and hold it at the post office for a week I believe.
