Question regarding XP-mode

I downloaded and have been using the RC XP Mode and RC Virtual PC. Now that the RTM version is available for download, do I have to uninstall the RC version or can I install it over the RC version.
 
I just downloaded and installed the Virtual PC app again. I didn't need XP mode because I already had a VPC image.
 
This is odd. I have two VPCs and one installed the necessary updates with no problem while the other did not. In fact, it keep rolling back the required VPC Integration Component when I try to install it.
 
Whenever dealing with Beta or RC software, it's always safest to remove the earlier components before updating to the Released version.
 
odd, when I went to install the xp mode, for me it said that I had to uninstall the previous version, that the for the large file. for the smaller file it was just an update and it went fine
 
Why is one VPC working fine and another severly crippled? It won't even install the VPC integration components.

EDIT: I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the VPC software and everything remains the same with one VPC working and another not working.
