Question regarding targets return policy

I bought Ray last weekend and tonite was the first time that I've had a chance to sit down and watch it. I have since thrown away the reciept. The DVD will not play, it cant be read at all. My DVD player doesn't have a problem reading other DVDs.

Will Target let me exchange the DVD for the same one even without a reciept?
 
They should have your name on file or your phone number that you gave them when you bought something so that you wont need your receipt.
