Question regarding Pinnacle Studio 8.0

I just got a TV capture card, and was trying to burn some of the programs to a DVD. The program itself is an MPEG, and is about 2.3 gigs. When I take it into Pinnacle Studio 8.0, and remove the commercials, and then try to burn it to DVD, it says that there is not enough space on the DVD.

Basicaly, my 2.3 gig file has now ballooned to over 8 gigs. Am I doing anything wrong, or is this normal?

Actually, I tried that. Its actually a TV capture of the superbowl. I removed the commercials, and tried to put the whole game on one DVD. It said it was too big, so I tried to do just the first 2 quarters, and it gave me teh same issue.

I beleive there is an option for it to automatically reduce the quality of the burn to make it fit on the disk. There are 3 tabs in Studio, I cannot recall all three (one is edit), the last one has an options button. click on it, and there is an "auto adjust". This will fix your issue.
