Question regarding Phenom and ram choice

I just scored a Phenom 9500 for cheap and I have a question about RAM speed. I will not be overclocking at all, and I wanted to know if there is any reason I should not pair the 9500 with pc2-5300 if I can get it cheaper than pc2-6400? TIA.

There really isn't any reason, except that PC6400 is as cheap right now as PC5300, or at least within a few dollars.
