If the robbery in the vault was staged, then who put the hooker ads in the bag so the cops could load it into the truck?

they robbed the vault on a previous night and replaced it with those bags, then staged it, if i recall correctly.

perhaps they were packed into the case with the amazing yen? because the bags were sent up the elevator and benedict's men put them in the back of the truck before pitt and the rest of the crew were called in, correct?

No they robbed it that night, they were disguised as the swat team, but I don't know the answer to your question. And they were the ones who put the flyers in the bags

i would guess that the swat team came in with the bags on them + another set of bags

whenthey got inside, took out one set of bags, put all the money in it

then blew up the bags with the ads

but then again it's been awhile since i've seen the movie

I read somewhere that the director admits there are some plot holes that would unravel the whole thing. This is probably one of them.

Dang, the stupid movie was just on last night, and I watched the last 1 or so, but I can't completely remember. Although again my thinking is this. They were indeed in the vault when they said they were. They then placed all the money into th ebags, as well as a the bags full of flyers. Then they put the bags in the elevator, then they all got back out(can't remember for sure how they did that). Then they called and had the bags taken out of the elevator and place din the van, knowing it would be followed. Then they came back in as the swat team and took out the real bags of money. But I may be wrong

yea, he admitted this. But then they realized who the movie was geared towards and thought that people wouldn't really pick up on all these plotholes. Like a good magician they just tried to entertain you enough so you don't really notice the stuff that is really (or isnt' really) going on.

Sounds right.

Also, the robbery that the owner saw was a staged one that they played through the feed. During the actual robbery, all they did was get the chinese guy inside, blow the door open and wait. Then the swat came in with the bags with flyers. They took the money, left flyers in the vault and loaded flyers onto the truck. Or something.. I always wondered exactly how it happened and I haven't seen it for a few months.

1) Film the fake robbery using their own fake stage (one of the vault workers at the end noted that the floor wasn't the same)
2) Rob the real bank. Bring stripper flyers (or the flyers could be in the white van in 3). Run the tape in 1.
3) Send the fake bags upstairs through the elevator. Casino workers are instructed to place the bags into the white van without looking at the driver, or else the bags will blow.
4) SWAT team pull up as the white van leaves.
5) The money is placed into the bags that the SWAT team brings.
6) SWAT pull out and profit!

yup, sounds about right.

Basically they show them the recorded robbery so they call the fake SWAT team. However, Daniel and Damon knock out the guards and then jet. SWAT goes down and takes the cash and loads the van with the ads. millions of dollars richer. BTW, stop watching TNT 😛
