Question regarding Newegg.com, Corsair XMS ddr, and Lifetime Warranties... :)

OK. I was checking out some Corsair XMS DDR on Newegg.com, looking for cas 2 3000 and 3200. Now, some of them are listed as OEM, and also say 'Lifetime Warranty' meaning they are covered by newegg. Other OEMs do not state this.

Question is, say 3200c2 wasnt covered under the stated lifetime warranty, should I get 3000c2 that IS instead? Is it worth the tradeoff?

My other question is, if I plan on overclocking, is the lifetime warranty definitely a wise choice? How often does someone fry their stick of Corsair XMS, and by how much am I going to shorten its sweet little life by?

Thanks, hope someone can help me.

What's the price difference we are talking here? I'd go with a lifetime warranty if it was cheap, but I'm pretty sure ALL crosair memory is coverd by their lifetime warranty to compete with Crucial and whatnot.

The most advanced model that says Lifetime warranty is the 512mb 3200 C2.5 oem $169.

I REALLY would like to get cas2, wont it perform a LOT better?

why do only some of the OEM models say lifetime warranty?!?!

its damn weird....

Awesome. All I need to know!

Do you think its worth getting 3200 over 3000, and cas 2 over cas 2.5?

Im going to buy a Chaintech 7VJL motherboard in a few weeks, and overclock using my XP 1800+ (AGOGA).
Worth the money or not? Im not sure how far the PROCESSOR will go, let alone having memory to do 200+ fsb!
