Ok I have a music video in a MPEG file and I want to lift the audio part of it and conver it to mp3, how would i go about doing this?
Thanx.

You could use an app called Virtual Dub. This is how to do it:
1. Open the movie in VD
2. Go to Audio -> Full Processing Mode
3. Go to Audio -> Compression
4. Choose mp3 (you need an MP3 encoder installed for it to work)
5. Choose File -> Save WAV
6. Name it whatever.mp3

That´s it!
