Question regarding internet explorer favorites

i have a laptop that I would like to use to view webpages that have been already downloaded from my home pc.

I am able to download webpages and synchronize them so that they are available offline on my home pc, but i cant seem to find a way to transfer those pages onto a cd or disk. When i cut and paste the icons in my c:\windows\favorites into my cd burner, it doesnt copy the entire site. there must be another directory where the actual webpage information is stored for later offline viewing. Do any of you know where the information must be located?

My laptop would take too darn long to download the pages, so i need some way of transfering my home pc webpage favorites to my laptop. thanx guys

i think those files are stored in the c:\windows\temporary internet files section
another way u could get ur work done is get this software called winhttpgrabber. it shud suit ur purpose fine. dunno the url so search for it at download.com

If you want to export your favorites just go to FILE > import and Export , then export the bookmark.htm to a floppy,to import on the other pc just import them.

Webpages available offline are stored on your HDD. If you click on file menu and open option, it'll tell you what directory this pages are saved at. As soon as you find out what directory this pages are saved, copy them to a floppy and then transfer them to your laptop. Or you could just export your favs from your desktop and import them to your laptop. And then from there you can load the pages from the internet and save them again as pages available offline.
