Question Regarding HITACHI CML174SXW (16 MS Response time)

I'm getting a new computer in the next few days (its jacked, I might add) and I have decided that I want a HITACHI CML174SXW as my monitor. The problem is that the black version which, IMO, looks much better is $40 more than the white one at Newegg. I personally can't decide if looks is worth it.


Anyone got an suggestions, stories, or advice for me?

BTW - I can afford the black one easily.

Right now, you can get free shipping for + a 3 year warranty for only $500.... newegg only offers a one year warranty ( newegg themselves ) and costs $474 shipped for the white version. $514 for the black version

I prefer the black finish ,besides it`s only money 😉.

Black is much better ... it sucks you into the monitor, and you tend to see less outside "noise"

I've got a black one 🙂 and have used the whhite ones.
