question regarding dvd burning, please help

Hey guys. I just got a DVDr burner, and I have no idea how to use most of the features. I want to know how I can rip a DVD thats more than 4.7 gigs and put it on a DVDr thats 4.7 gigs. Would I have to make it a Divx file? or is there a way to get around the huge VOB files? I tried using DVD decrypter, but it gave me 8 gigs of the VOBs, and i cant put em all on a single DVDr. If anyone knows how to solve this, please help me. thanks a lot.
 
Well, the obvious answer is go to DVDRHelp.com, but if you pick up on things easily, just download DVD Shrink, and any burning program will suffice.

DVD Shrink is pretty much all you need. There are other tools out there that will do the job.

By the way, when you have a question about Software, AT has a forum just for that, and a search function that can help you find old threads.

Try search with "dvd" and see what turns up. For even more results, try a search of "archived" threads.
