Question Regarding Dell 2001/2005Fp and other large LCD.

I'm sure most of us don't have the video card to al power 16x12 with the latest games. I might pick one of these up for the holday season so I was wondering if anyone had any experience w/ scaling to other resolutions such as 1280 or 1024 or 640. Also what if you want to play a 4:3 game on the 2005? does it just stretch it out or black borders? want to order soon before mail gets clogged for xmas so i would appreciate a quick response. thanks i know its 2 am for some of us

I've used a 2001FP and the scaling seems pretty decent. Not great by any means, but definitely acceptable.

Scaling to lower 4:3 resolutions on the 2001FP isn't so bad. 1024 X 768 looks pretty decent to me.
