Question regarding costco return/exchange policy?

Parents bought a htib and the video from the vcr/dvd is bad. So they want to take it back or exchange it. Everything is there and we still have the box but no receipt. Does anyone know if we can go back and get store credit or a refund? I mean wouldn't it be logged under the costco card everything we buy? Thanks this would help a lot for the holidays.

Another costco question, does costco accept your return no questions asked? Or do they take a quick glance at it? I want to return a book I bought from there that had some of its inner pages wrinkled (was purchased in that condition). No, I only read the book half way.

they will give you a costco cash card for smaller returns without a reciept, not sure about big ticket items. And yes, it's no questions asked.

Costco RULES!

I had a car battery go bad with in the warrenty period. They replaced it (No recipt, and really none needed since they keep a record).
Well actually they gave me my money back. I bought another battery, BETTER than the one I bought before, and for less $$$!! 🙂

Then they said "OH well, if you don't like it, you can bring it back!" 🙂
